Book 1 starts you in open position (Frets 0-5) and each subsequent book moves further up the neck finishing with the highest notes on guitar (Frets 12-22). Welcome to the virtuoso region of the neck! Learn to read the guitar’s highest notes. With Book 5 you’ll finally be able to read those metal, jazz, rock, and classical solos that you currently have to figure out using TAB. TAB’s a great way to learn, but it can also be full of errors. Know better than the TAB, and decide for yourself the best way to play any song!
